Purchased 2 desktop Mic recently to use in radio system with PTT. Older version of desktop mic was in use already in this configuration. Old mic did not have detachable cable or speaker jack. Serial No xxxxxxxx.  PTT caused red led to indicate status not mute amber blink. Need momentary PTT. Is this done with a software configuration program ?

Microphone you purchased is not PTT version of the DesktopMic.  You need to return these 2 microphones and purchase DesktopMic with PTT functionality.  Please call our office or go online to get an RMA as well as order online if you like.  PTT Version is at http://www.insyncspeech.com/Products/102-buddy-desktopmic-ptt.aspx
